I’m Valentin, I started in May 2023 as the new City Manager for both Nantes & Rennes campuses in France. I’m currently working from Nantes. I’m very happy to have joined this great adventure with you all and hope we’ll make a difference both for Le Wagon and for people out there willing to live a more fulfilling life by embracing a new career path.

I used to work as a freelance photographer for four years but I also worked as Chief Marketing Officer in Paris where I created a conferene cycle for IT professionals. In my free time I also cofounded a small indie game studio. So I guess I can say professional transition was already part of my of life for me even before joining Le Wagon.

My best trip was my honeymoon in Japan in 2018. As someone who is both super geek (manga, video games and stuff) and feeling like I belong in calm places in nature, I feel really close to Japan’s cultural environment, both regarding traditions and modern way of life. I made a photography exhibition out of it with the city of Nantes.

When I retire, I will probably dedicate my time to music composition as it’s been my passion for almost as long as I remember. I composed original soundtracks for video games and films in my free time but I still consider myself a wannabe composer that's why it's been four years now that I follow weekly music composition classes.
