In order to realize our ambitions and support our global growth objectives, we are looking for an energetic and talented Business Developer & Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our growing team in Paris.
Their goal will be to develop Le Wagon’s presence and impact in Paris by activating strategic local partnerships, building a strong community network, and driving lead generation in close alignment with national marketing and brand strategies.
Your Mission :
Business Development & Ecosystem Activation in Paris (40%)
- Local Partnerships & Lead Generation: Proactively build and develop partnerships with key ecosystem players such as junior enterprises, business schools, student associations, coworking spaces, incubators, and professional networks to generate high-potential leads.
- Community Engagement: Act as Le Wagon’s representative within Paris’ tech and training ecosystems by actively participating in relevant events (e.g. Women in Tech, AI meetups, French Tech, job fairs). Ensure strong visibility and continuous presence in the local innovation scene. Collaborate with regional partners to replicate successful initiatives such as workshops, forums, or hackathons.
- Institutional Ecosystem: Position Le Wagon as a trusted partner for public and semi-public institutions by developing strong relationships with France Travail, OPCOs, APEC, and regional stakeholders. Drive initiatives that boost institutional support and awareness of our programs to increase enrolment.
- Growth Collaboration: Work closely with campus directors from other cities to replicate and tailor high-potential initiatives for the Île-de-France region. Track student pipeline forecasts and jointly develop regional growth strategies.
- Tender Preparation: Monitor relevant regional tenders and funding opportunities. Build strategic local partnerships and coordinate with internal teams to prepare and structure future applications effectively.
Local Event Execution & Field Activation (40%)
- Events Execution for Lead Acquisition: Plan, organize, and lead events both on and off campus such as workshops, roundtables, discovery sessions, and fairs, in coordination with the national marketing & events team. You will represent Le Wagon at these events to engage target personas and convert them into leads. Manage on-site activations focused on tech and data upskilling to boost visibility and lead generation.
- Event Calendar Alignment: Design a quarterly in-person event calendar in Paris aligned with each stage of the conversion funnel (ToFu, MoFu, BoFu). Ensure strong attendance and effective post-event follow-up in close collaboration with the admissions and marketing teams.
- Daily follow up of Students applications and pipe monitoring to make sure local actions are done accordingly to the needs.
- Local Ownership of the Marketing Playbook: Implement local initiatives based on the national marketing playbook, adapting messaging and formats to fit the Paris audience — always in alignment with the central brand team.
Team Management (20%)
- Team Leadership & Culture: Manage and support the local team composed of the Program Manager, happiness officier and the Office Manager. Hold regular check-ins and help set clear priorities aligned with business and pedagogical objectives. Encourage a strong sense of ownership and collaboration across functions.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth coordination between teams on campus and with central functions (pedagogy, marketing, operations). Support internal rituals, internal communication, and feedback loops within the Paris team.
- Local Brand Representation: Be the face of Le Wagon Paris, both internally and externally. Represent the company at local events, with partners, and in day-to-day community interactions.
- Campus Pulse & Culture: Foster a positive, inclusive and high-energy atmosphere on campus for staff, students, and visiting teams.

- Based in Paris: You will be on the premises in the 11th arrondissement
- Network & Collaborative: You have a network within the professional training and Tech sectors (Opco, French tech, … etc.) and enjoy developing it. You are highly collaborative and love helping others reach their objectives. You enjoy being at events and representing Le Wagon during afterworks.
- Understanding Tech Training : As an experienced salesperson, grasp the key pedagogical aspects of our technical training programs. This will enable you to understand the technical choices and guidelines, pitch them effectively, and identify the right target audience and partnerships.
- Marketing Guidelines: You know how to adopt marketing guidelines, using them as tools to achieve your objectives.
- Experience: You have 3+ years of experience in Business Development with a strong command of key business and a real drive for results. Being an alumni of Le Wagon is appreciated for the Tech and programs knowledge.
- Public Speaking & Sales: You enjoy participating in public events and speaking publicly during them. You have a sales predisposition. You are a clear and confident communicator with Public speaking skills in both French and English, and are driven by the achievement of your targets.
- Strategic & Hands-on: You can work strategically while also being hands-on to ensure top-notch day-to-day student support when needed
- Passionate: You are passionate about technology and education.
- Organized & Structured: You are highly structured, organized, and able to work to tight deadlines to provide practical solutions. You have experience processing large amounts of inbound queries (Slack messages, emails) and prioritizing your tasks.
- Autonomous: You enjoy working independently and are confident in learning on your own and adapting to a fast-moving environment.
